LEVEL 1 ESSENTIAL DIGITAL SKILLS

The primary purpose of this qualification is to recognise the development of employability skills and/or knowledge. The practical nature of the units will introduce you to specific IT-related skills which can be learnt new or used to build upon existing knowledge and competencies. Ultimately this qualification serves to build learner confidence and provide learning opportunities that are stimulating and engaging.

You will study these units as part of the course: 

 

  • Word processing software

  • Presentation software

  • Using the internet

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Acceptance onto this course is subject to successful assessment and guidance interview

FIRST STEPS INTO ENTERPRISE

The qualification is designed for learners who have some knowledge of enterprise, who’d like to apply this to a full project activity. The focus on the development of skills and knowledge at this level prepares learners for progression to higher level qualifications or employment, particularly within the business and enterprise sector.

  • Plan and carry out an enterprise project

  • Evaluate enterprise project and skills
