This Level 2 qualification is designed for learners who wish to improve their knowledge of early brain development and is designed to provide an introduction to neuroscience from birth to seven years. This qualification will prepare you to work with children from birth to seven years and is ideal for those who are seeking a career within the early years sector.  

 

This qualification will help you to build the following skills: 

  

• Focus on the study of neuroscience in early years 

• Understand neuroscience and the early development of the brain. 

• Understand how the social brain develops.  

• Understand self-regulation and how to nurture this in children from birth to seven years 

• Progress to further and higher education
